Two Sexes: This is Some Interview, by Mike Huckabee,
3 September 2022, Published by The Stream
Published on The Stream, an article by Mike Huckabee, examines an interview published last week by the German feminist magazine EMMA, in which Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard cited hard scientific facts to counter the trendy notion that there are multiple genders.
The one time Governor of Arkansas and candidate to be the Republican nominee for the Presidency, writes:
I don’t often get to say this, but you will probably be thrilled and excited to read this interview from a German feminist magazine with Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard, a Nobel Prize-winning German developmental biologist.
‘Unscientific Nonsense’
You might think that sounds drier than the Sahara Desert, but I guarantee you’ll be jazzed to finally hear someone speak out and say what we’ve all been bullied into being quiet about for several years now: that humans are mammals, mammals have two sexes (male and female), and any claims otherwise are “unscientific nonsense.”
But what about the claim that there are many different genders, as declared by Germany’s Commissioner for the Acceptance of Sexual and Gender Diversity? She said, “Perhaps Herr Lehmann missed the basic course in biology…There are very ‘feminine’ men and very ‘masculine’ women, which not only has to do with cultural factors, but also with different hormone levels, among other things. There’s a huge spectrum.”
The Truth is in the Chromosomes!
But as for the idea that one can change from male to female or vice versa, or be whatever gender they claim to be, “That’s nonsense! It’s wishful thinking. There are people who want to change their gender, but they can’t do it” because it’s built into every single chromosome in the human body and affects each individual’s development from the moment of conception.
As for letting children “pick their own gender,” she calls that “madness.” She said at 14, she wanted to be a boy because a career in science was easier then for males, but fortunately, she grew up in a time when common sense and medical technology dictated otherwise, and she learned to cope and be comfortable in her own skin.
Now before the Big Brother social media censors tell you this is fake news:
I happened to see a Post on the “book of face” (ahem… something in my throat) in which the person posting, shared a meme, which proclaimed there are only two sexes, male and female. The guardians of the galaxy, had labeled the post as incorrect, maintaining that there are a wide spectrum of genders and not just male and female.
I could not let that one stand, normally I read these things and go on with my day; but sometimes you have to comment, you have to take a stand and call out–as Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard called it–‘Unscientific Nonsense’
However before I could go out and search the factual information and return to comment on the post, the post disappeared.
Those of us with gray hair learned all this in like, Junior High School, but for the sake of those of you who have had a woke education, please read the statements by Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard:
“All mammals have two sexes, and man is a mammal,” she explained. “There’s the one sex that produces the eggs, has two X chromosomes. That’s called female. And there’s the other one that makes the sperm, has an X and a Y chromosome. That’s called male.” (English translation courtesy of Google Translate.)
While there are animals that produce both sperm and eggs, such as snails, and thus can create offspring without having to mate, this “does not change the fact that there are two germ cells, eggs and sperm, and therefore two sexes,”She did, however, insist that one cannot change from male to female or vice versa. Referring to the idea that an individual is whatever gender he or she claims to be, she declared, “That’s nonsense! It’s wishful thinking. There are people who want to change their gender, but they can’t do it” because it’s built into every single chromosome in the human body and affects each individual’s development from the moment of conception.
Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard is the 79-year-old winner of multiple scientific awards, including the 1995 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
Please allow me to reiterate, there are only two sexes, male and female, this is an immutable scientific fact that has been accepted around the world for some time now.
With that said there is a very rare condition called de la Chapelle syndrome in which men are born with two “X” chronozones which occurs in about one per 20,000 newborn males, making it much less common than Klinefelter syndrome which occurs in about one per 1000 male births and have two X chromosomes and one Y. Women can also have these rare “intersex” conditions at birth. However the current debate is not about those born with Chromosomal abnormalities, it is about what we used to call Gender Dysphoria which is a term that describes a sense of unease that a person may have because of a mismatch between their biological sex and what they seem to think that they are.
When you look at the sheer numbers of children in some schools who now claim to be transgendered, and you look at the numbers of such as one in twenty-thousand births for de la Chapelle syndrome for example, you can not help but see a glaring discrepancy. If there is only 1 case of de la Chapelle in 20,000 male births or even 1 case of Klinefelter in 1000 births, why are there so many children now identifying as the sex opposite of their biological sex?
Think about it…..
PLEASE, join with all concerned citizens and vote for sanity this November, let’s take back control of Congress from the liberal woke Democrats who think men can get pregnant, criminals are victims, and that high gas and grocery prices are a good thing!
